Within 30 minutes, you will be able to visit Bath, one of the most beautiful cities in Britain with its famous Roman Baths, its very attractive Royal Crescent as well as its great shopping and restaurants.
Longleat House, gardens, safari and children attractions provides a fantastic day out for the whole family. Children can’t get enough of it and it’s certainly worth a visit.
We are only a short distance away from the UNESCO world heritage site of Stonehenge. Built over 4000 years ago, its great stones still exert mystical fascination on thousands of visitors from all over the world every year.
EXCELLENTBased on 40 reviewsVerifiedEmmaThis little cottage is the cutest. It is very quaint and close to the attractions. We had four people staying and one in a wheelchair. Just a couple of steps required but easy. I would say it is wheelchair friendly. It had all the amenities we need to stay comfortably for two weeks and close to the local grocery store. I would definitely stay again.VerifiedPatriciaIdeal for a family of four, in a quiet location but within easy reach of many of the tourist hotspots. The house was clean and comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. You do need a car and to remember to do any food shopping while you are out, the supermarkets are a bit of a distance away!VerifiedKatharineThis is honestly one of the nicest airbnbs we have stayed in. It was beautifully and thoughtfully decorated, the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and the beds were very comfortable. Will definitely be thinking of a reason to stay again!VerifiedRachelWe had a wonderful weekend ,Hinton lodge was lovely,a perfect location with a fantastic pub just down the road I would highly recommend this stay and we are looking forward to coming back soon Thankyou cleaVerifiedSophieThank you Clea for a lovely stay! Such a great place, so quiet and peaceful, with friendly pretty ponies in the field! Could not have been cleaner, fresh and bright! A lovely weekend break many thanksVerifiedMeganWe had a lovely and relaxing few days at the Hinton Lodge. The cottage was pristinely clean, nicely decorated, and well-equipped. We were especially grateful to find an accessible house that was all one level. Would highly recommend for a countryside getaway! The beautiful horse and pony on the grounds were a fun bonus :)VerifiedJudeA lovely comfortable, cosy place to stay - with everything we needed for a few relaxing days away. We would highly recommend a stay at Hinton Lodge.VerifiedClaireHinton Lodge was immaculate and had everything you needed for a comfortable stay in Wiltshire. The kitchen was well equipped and the place was spotless. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and Clea was the perfect host.VerifiedDanielleWe had a lovely stay at Hinton Lodge over the Christmas break. It is charming and peaceful.VerifiedAndyGreat 2 week stay at Hinton Lodge, we were using the property as a stop gap between selling and buying a new house and it provided very comfortable accommodation for us and our dog. I was working virtually and the Wi-Fi and dining room area gave me a private space to do this from. The area itself is perfect for anyone who loves walking and enjoys the countryside, lots of wildlife to see and some lovely villages to explore, the Longs Arms in Steeple Ashton is perfect for a meal or an afternoon drink in their garden space. Clea, our host was always on hand if we needed anything but for the most part we found the lodge had everything we needed.
